Platemaking machine maintenance

Platemaking machines also need to pay great attention to maintenance, divided into surface maintenance and internal maintenance. Surface maintenance is only the initial maintenance of machine maintenance. Internal maintenance is the key. Internal maintenance of the machine includes the following:
1, (1) Clean edge detection strip:
To position the image to the edge of the plate, the output device uses an edge detection algorithm. The algorithm relies on a 741 mm (29.2 in) black non-reflective detection strip placed on the surface of the imaging drum inside the output device, next to the front-edge press block. The edge detection strip must be cleaned every month to avoid edge detection errors. ① Ensure that the output device is not currently working. ② Shut down the output device. ③ Open the front door. ④ Turn the image drum with your hand until you see the edge detection strip. Note: Do not grasp the surface of the right end of the drum. This can damage the optical encoder in the imaging drum. ⑤ Wet a piece of non-cotton cloth with distilled water (suitable for precision operation), and wipe the test strip only in one direction. (Be careful not to leave any fingerprints or smudges on the strip, and dry it with a clean dry cloth after rubbing.)
2, (2) Clean plate roller:
① Ensure that the output device is not currently working. ② Shut down the output device. ③ Open the front door. ④ Gently wipe the roll (bright blue) with the other hand with a wet cotton cloth (suitable for precision operations). Be careful not to leave any fingerprints or smudges on the test strip, and dry it with a clean dry cloth after rubbing.
3, (3) Clean imaging drum to clean imaging drum
① Ensure that the output device is not currently imaging the plate.
② Shut down the output device.
③ Open the front door.

④ Gently wipe the other hand with a wet cotton cloth (suitable for precision operations) and gently turn the image drum. Be careful not to leave any fingerprints or smudges on the test strip, and dry it with a clean dry cloth after rubbing.
